Happy New Year 2014!

December 31, 2013

I’m not a bloggers bootlace. I have not posted for so long and I logged in today guiltily, furtively,  to see if I have the nerve to give it another go!

Over the last few days I’ve  looked at months of posts on the wonderful the websites  on my sidebar. I didn’t need to log in to my site to do that!  They were,  just as I’d always found them, interesting ,engaging and inspirational and I’d missed them.

In the time I’ve been away I’d forgotten my password, without which I was unable to leave comments, the look of the platform had changed and I found in my dashboard a handful of drafts I have written over the last 2 years. Cringe. I’m not reading them. I’m deleting them and I am dipping my toes back into the blogging water.

I haven’t done a lot of sewing over the last two years. Only a few small projects I will share in the next couple of posts and share a little of the other things that have occupied me during this time.

Best wishes to any who may drop by this year.

Kathy

I’m still here. 🙂 Hope you had a good Christmas and don’t have too many resolutions to break in the weeks to come. Look forward to hearing more from you

Thanks dear Sheila! Yes this year I am going to make a very, very long list of resolutions and I’m going to keep them all :)-starting with no snacking between now and lunch:(!!

I am going to to keep remindin myself that this blog is about sharing with friends!

I know how easy it is to get out of the blogging habit, it isn’t quite as easy to get the habit back though, start small, a photo and a few words, then build from there if that is what you want to do.

  3. Kathy Says:

Thanks so much Pip for your encouragement! Yes, a no frills approach for me. xx

  5. Looking forward to hearing more from you. We can motivate each other with exercize and healthy eating! I also want to become more active in the Add A Border group on Flickr. My goal is to mail some blocks I have had for over a year to Dustin this week. Let’s see how I do!

Hi Theresa. OMGoodness i am hopeless. i finally posted after a year. i didn’t even look at the site and couldn’t remember how to get in. Anyway, yes, we can motivate each other with fitness and all.
I have 2 add-a-border babies that I lost for ages. As soon as I get home I’ll do them.
I’ve spent the day doing tutorials on how to manage the ‘new’ computer I have had for 2 years! Yes I am breathing and it feels so good to do a bit of catching up!
So pleased to hear your good news and I’ll keep in touch. xx
