Which brings me to an article I stumbled upon in a book (reference to follow). I laughed and hope that we craftswomen of today are not judged as harshly as the women of Federation -1880-1920- have been judged in this newspaper article. I’m inclined to think that anyone who sees my crocheted rug in 100 years will definitely agree with this gentleman’s sentiments.
